If you’re a big reader, the Amazon Kindle is a natural for you. The Kindle is the size of a paperback, but
it has 'electronic paper.' Strangely, I find reading on Kindle is easier on my eyes than reading on paper.
Besides the ease of reading, books on Kindle are a lot cheaper. A new hardbound book may cost $25; on Kindle
it costs just $9 or less. In fact, there are even FREE books that you can download.
You don't have to
be a techie to use a Kindle. In fact, I bought a Kindle for my 70-year old sister. She has never owned or worked
on a computer. She operates Kindle effortlessly.
The best thing is that you can adjust the type size.
For instance, when I read at night, I bump up the type face for easier reading. Heck, sometimes I even take off my readers,
bump up the size of the type face and read like I used to do years ago. I can actually read with kid eyes again.
